While some may dismiss Gameloft’s Zombie Infection as simply a Resident Evil 4 knock-off due to its’ third-person over-the-shoulder aiming and location based damage, I found it to be one of Gameloft’s more enjoyable single-player experiences and for .99 provides more gameplay and fun than 90% of the zombie drool oozing from the app store every week.

<trackback:ping>http://www.mobile3dworld.com/DesktopModules/DnnForge%20-%20NewsArticles/Tracking/Trackback.aspx?ArticleID=284&PortalID=0&TabID=426</trackback:ping>
Carnivores - Dinosaur Hunter - Update*

Pocket Legends by Spacetime Studios is a terrifically fun 3D MMORPG that’s a first of its kind for the Idevice and deserves to be tried by anyone remotely interested in a 3D mobile online multiplayer action/RPG. It costs you nothing for some incredibly robust content that lets you build three different character types up 13 levels before being tempted by the DLC. At which point, you’ll happily throw down $1.99 to continue the party.

<trackback:ping>http://www.mobile3dworld.com/DesktopModules/DnnForge%20-%20NewsArticles/Tracking/Trackback.aspx?ArticleID=281&PortalID=0&TabID=426</trackback:ping>
Brothers in Arms 2: Global Front

Brothers in Arms 2: Global Front by Gameloft does a nice job of combining first-person run-and-gun action with the third-person cover system of its predecessor Hour of Heroes to give you the best of both shooter worlds if you can overcome the frustration of some horrible jeep driving sequences.

<trackback:ping>http://www.mobile3dworld.com/DesktopModules/DnnForge%20-%20NewsArticles/Tracking/Trackback.aspx?ArticleID=280&PortalID=0&TabID=426</trackback:ping>
GT Racing: Motor Academy - Update

Gameloft has shown it's commitment to GT Racing by quickly putting out an update that addresses the draw distance and pop-up issues while adding two new cars, the Bugatti Veyron and a 1992 Celica.
GT Racing: Motor Academy from Gameloft distances itself from the arcade racing of their Asphalt series of games and enters GT territory dominated by Firemint’s Real Racing and EA’s recent Need for Speed Shift.
When surrounded by hordes of axe-wielding Orcs, giant Trolls and undead skeletons all thirsty for a piece of your flesh, what’s a girl to do? Display all her womanly assets to titillate and distract so she can get in a few unanswered hacks with her massive sword. After all, all’s fair in love and war. The newest addition to EA’s Need For Speed garage, NFS Shift, distinguishes itself from the arcade racing of NFS Undercover by providing more of a simulation type experience with an emphasis on the correct braking and proper racing line rather than spectacular collisions, cops or storyline.

<trackback:ping>http://www.mobile3dworld.com/DesktopModules/DnnForge%20-%20NewsArticles/Tracking/Trackback.aspx?ArticleID=260&PortalID=0&TabID=426</trackback:ping>
Avatar

Red Bull X-Fighters is a fabulously entertaining title from Xendex. While this game has nothing to do with bulls or fighting it has everything to do with flat out fun and awesome visuals as you perform radical motocycle stunts at dizzying heights above roaring crowds while a gorgeous 3D camera pans and zooms to catch every stunning move and painful crash as your rag doll body gets thrashed by each improper landing. It’s both beautiful and gruesome.

<trackback:ping>http://www.mobile3dworld.com/DesktopModules/DnnForge%20-%20NewsArticles/Tracking/Trackback.aspx?ArticleID=219&PortalID=0&TabID=426</trackback:ping>
Derek Jeter Real Baseball

In Derek Jeter Real Baseball one of the Iphone’s hottest hitters takes a swing at simulating baseball on the I device with one of their signature franchises. Gameloft, in the mist of an MVP season, is no rookie to mobile baseball as they’ve been putting out versions of Derek Jeter in java for years so it’s assumed they know baseball.

<trackback:ping>http://www.mobile3dworld.com/DesktopModules/DnnForge%20-%20NewsArticles/Tracking/Trackback.aspx?ArticleID=214&PortalID=0&TabID=426</trackback:ping>
Dungeon Hunter

The Gameloft juggernaut has rocked the Iphone with the release of two genre-busting bombs within the span of two weeks. First with the open-world of Gangster and now with the FPS Modern Combat Sandstorm they’ve forever changed the landscape of 3D gaming on the Iphone.
