| This is interesting for me, as a former aircraft mechanic. My semi-educated guess is that the paper flight publications are still quite a while to be kept as a backup. Realistically, I could see an iPad or tablet is similar to complement the flight pubs rather than replacing them outright. I think it would be more time saving would have pilots do not spend as much time digging through a series of books, and could simply select the appropriate manual and pull it right there on your screen. I imagine flight pubs tablets could be updated over the network, so that may save a little time. It would be great for mechanics, tho the tablet would definitely have been in a sort of weatherproof housing to protect it from drops / droplets of rain, dust, gasoline / oil / hydraulic fluid, etc. It would also be nice to be able just plug it into an airplane and use it as a diagnostic computer with some special app for it (I'm sure someone has probably already thought of that). I know it would have been a lot of time back when I used to board airplanes work (not return all the way to go in the crib tool to get another guide, now you can simply drag it to your screen). So I am cautiously optimistic. vob to avi trippit is remarkably free and interfaces with a website so you can edit, add one exit route before you leave on your cell phone or a computer. Trip Journal is a cool way of logging a trip and roll the camera stores images, allowing you to backup also has a cool flyby can export to google that contains pictures and are so cool. | I just tried that, and while it does keep you from having to unlock the phone or find the camera icon, the shutter is still VERY slow to open. I think that's what this tweak does, if I read the previous comment correctly. It keeps your phone from having to initialize the camera. My understanding is that Snappy will keep the thing initialized and pull it up almost instantly, which the Activator method you described doesn't do. transfer from iphone to mac This sounds good. You kids are forgetting Apple has.more then one MAC model. As well as more then one ipod model. Don't question Steve jobs. He is human. With android on the.loose Apple will do anything to surpass it. Besides if they do this you guys will say its the best thing ever. |
