If you've just gotten back from the long weekend, Skater Nation from Gameloft rolled into the App store for  $6.99.   Based on a modified Gangstar engine, this title turns an entire city into an open world sandbox for your boarding fun.  There were also some nice price drops as always.

Every Iphone game from Pangea has been lowered to $.99 for a limited time.  These include Nanosaur 2, CroMag Rally, Otto Matic, Bugdom 2, Enigmo 1 and 2 and Billy Frontier, all certainly worth 99 pennies.  Also lowered in price are the recently reviewed

Ravensword: The Fallen King from Chillingo and Crescent Moon Games has found it's way into the App store.  This action/RPG uses both first-person and third-person perspectives in exploring and completing quests in a haunting open world that promises 6-8 hours of game play for $6.99.

Ground Effect by Glenn Corpes released last week for $3.99, has dropped to $.99.  This extremely attractive high-speed racer is based on the real-world ekranoplan craft that skims meters above land and water on a cushion of air.

Eliminate is available in the U.S.  This highly-anticipated online multiplayer fragfest is good-looking,
slick and frantic but best of all, it's free!  There's no need to worry about an upcoming price cut.  There's also a new release from the hyper-active Gameloft.

Doom Classic has been unleashed in the app store for $6.99.  It contains the 3 original episodes of Doom plus Thy Flesh Consumed for a total of 36 missions and uses the well-received Wolfenstein 3D control setup as default.

NBA Live 10 by EA Sports has arrived on the app store hardwood just in time for the start of the NBA season..  This full-featured game offers all 30 licensed NBA teams and players for you to play in exhibition, season or playoff mode and utilizes a touch pad for movement and tilt control to shoot free throws.

Some great lite titles have been added to the app store starting with Firemint’s sensational Real Racing.  Firemint along with Volkswagon have released an interesting lite to promote the 2010  VW GTI.  This freebie lets you race the quick GTI in a three race career in Mayapan Beach, Forino Valley and Montclair along with a Time Trial or quick race in Mayapan while also allowing you to sync to cloud cell.  If you’re interested in racing, VW or simply want to try the finest the Iphone has to offer now’s your chance.

It’s been another action-packed week in the app store.  It's the type of week that can put a
real dent in your pocketbook.  Lead by the hyperactive Gameloft, who seems to be stirring about 5 pots at once, these are some of the newest 3D releases.
